Add Bling with Mootools and other scripts

Because Joomla is written in PHP and MySQL it means that it is very easy to extend and add extra functionality and features. Across the web there are many web extensions and addons that can be purchased or downloaded for free and used in the development of your site. Following are some examples used in some of my recent projects.

MonoSlideShow.

As seen on my homepage. The monoSlideShow plugin that rotates images using smooth transitions and the famous Ken Burns effect. Check out http://worldwatchmedia.com for another example.

Mootools.

Mootools have a huge range of effects available by using the mootools and mooFX javascript libraries. The Accordion menus is just one example. http://www.jvi.com.au

Expose Flash Gallery

Show off your images in this very slick gallery for huge amounts of WOW!  It has a lot of white space so it doesn't suit every design or everyone's taste. It's great for photography sites or holiday/accomodation sites, etc.

This is only a small example of plugins available to use in your project. If you see a something on another site that you think could work on yours then let me know. Chances are it can be downloaded and plugged in to your site with very little effort. If not, I'll make it for you.
